This label from the Sanitary Bottle Works in Indiana Harbor, Indiana is not your standard soda label. Similar to our Fruit Cup label, the idea was to produce a carbonated drink that would be like a fruit punch and hence the name, Fruit Bowl. Obviously, there were more flavors in the Fruit Bowl Soda than in the Fruit Cup Soda. This vintage label dates back to the 1930’s or 1940’s, measures 3.85” Wide x 2.85” High, and has great blue and strawberry colored Art Deco graphics. Check out the telephone number, IH-1627.
The Sanitary Bottle Works closed down in the 1960s. They produced several different soda flavors while in operation, such as Root Beer, Fruit Cup, Ginger Ale, Strawberry, Club, Cherry, Orange, and Fruit Bowl. Unfortunately, not much is known about the company, but it does have the seal of “Another Masterpiece from The House of Green:. This label is in mint unused condition.
WE GUARANTEE OUR LABELS TO BE AUTHENTIC AND AS DESCRIBED!
