The cigar label probably dates to the 1920s – 1930s and was made by the El-Rees-So company of Greensboro, North Carolina.\u003cb style=\"mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;\"\u003e \u003c\/b\u003eGreensboro was cited as the largest cigar-producing city between Baltimore and Tampa in the 1920s and 1930s.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"margin: 0in;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;\"\u003eJohn Rees, a former Southern Railroad employee, started making El-Rees-So about 1915. Cigar making, unfortunately, had a short life in Greensboro. The El Moro Company was the last cigar maker to close, finally selling in 1955 to T.E.
