Agua Fricot Vintage Cosmetic Label
Historic Overview
This antique perfume/cosmetic label is from the 1930s and measures 2” Wide x 4” High. It is from Francisco Betrian Bayo of Barcelona, Spain and features a whimsical valentine theme. The gold leaf fringed label displays a cute image of a Cherub backed by a red heart and on the ground with a bed of tulips. Although it is represented as a perfume, the translation is “Fricot water for progressive gray” which would indicate it was also used to cover grey hair or for the older generation. This unique label will be a welcome addition to your collection.
