Tulip - Magnolia Trees - 1934

SKU: VMP1065
$16.50 USD

Historic Overview

These antique tree illustrations highlight two flowering trees. The prints come from the book Trees You Want to Know by Donald Culross Peattie and published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin in 1934. Illustrations of the eastern trees are from the classic “Sylva of North America” by Francois Andre Michauw and illustrations of western trees by Ethel Bonney Taylor.

These descriptions and illustrations are of the Tulip Tree and Evergreen Magnolia Tree, both growing predominately in the Eastern United States. They are professionally matted in an 8” x 10” light green colored matte to setoff the beauty of the images.

Keep in mind, an antique print will never be “perfect” like a new print and there are sometimes tiny occasional spots and/or discoloring or aging. However, we only sell mint or almost mint prints and will never sell anything that we would not be proud to hang on our own walls!!!

WE GUARANTEE ALL PRINTS TO BE AUTHENTIC AND AS DESCRIBED!
