Rita-Anne Florida Citrus Crate Label
Historic Overview
This Florida Crate label is from the 1950s and measures 6.75" Wide x 3" High. It features a pinup girl from the era and is a good representation of the styles of the 1950s. The fruit was packed and shipped by the Lake Region Packing Association of Tavares, Florida.
The Lake Region Packing Association was formed in 1909. In 2004 it joined as the newest member of Dundee Citrus Growers Association. This consolidation created an organization positioned to better serve the growers, marketers and consumers through increased efficiency while still providing access to quality citrus fruit.
The development of pre-printed cardboard boxes caused the wooden crates with paper labels to no longer be needed. An art form was lost, but this rescued label is guaranteed to be original. We never sell reproductions.
WE GUARANTEE ALL LABELS TO BE AUTHENTIC AND AS DESCRIBED!
