Super-Pak Washington and Oregon Apple Crate Label
Historic Overview
This seldom seen crate label measures 10” Wide x 9” High and is in mint condition. The label was for crates of Washington and Oregon Apples and dates back to the 1940s. I think its interesting that the apples were “pre-cooled”, even though they road East in non-refrigerated train cars. These apples were picked, packed, and shipped by Roy R. Hurst of Oroville, Washington. They also had a branch sales office in Sacramento, California.
