Full Brand Florida Citrus Crate Label

Our Full Brand Citrus label measures 9” Wide x 4.5” High and features the unique image of an Orange tree’s limbs and leaves forming a man holding a freshly picked orange. The label was produced for the Waverly Growers Cooperative of Waverly, Florida in the 1940s or 1950s.

The Waverly Growers Cooperative was founded in 1914 by eight growers and was incorporated in 1935. Later it joined Florida's Natural Growers as one of the 12 grower organizations representing almost 1,000 individual growers who own nearly 50,000 acres of citrus trees in Florida. You might be familiar with Florida's Natural Growers since they run extensive TV advertising dispensing homespun witticisms while pointing out that only Florida's Natural uses only Florida orange juice.
