This vintage greaseless hair cream label measures 3.8" Tall x 1.6" Wide and has a copyright of 1922. The label is red, white, and blue with Lady Liberty holding the product name. She has long flowing red hair, what else did you expect from a company selling hair cream.
This company originally started out as the Columbia Chemical Company of Allegheny Pennsylvania in the late 1800s. It became the Columbia Perfume Company sometime after the start of the 20th Century, probably from being sold, and moved to 4200 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. It was owned by the Mangieri brothers, Albert, Giovanni, and Umberto. This is just a beautiful rare antique looking label and could be displayed on an old clear glass bottle as it was originally.
