Silver Prince Outer Cigar Box Label

This wonderful embossed lithographed label measures 4.5” Wide x 4.5” High and dates back to 1910. The very detailed image is supposed to be Moses. Below Moses is an open book that we think is supposed to represent the Ten Commandments, but the print is not readable, probably on purpose. This gold gilded lithographed label was designed and executed by Heywood Strasser & Voigt Litho Company of New York, New York. Title & Design Registered by E.F.N.

The Silver Prince brand was manufactured by the Edward F. Noll’s Cuban Star Cigar factory of Dallastown, PA. Noll started the factory in 1893 and by 1910, when Silver Prince was produced; there was a capacity of 50,000 cigars a day.
